This Privacy Policy (“this Policy”) applies to all TIGERSECU Cloud services provided through our official website (www.tigersecu.com), our software (including but not limited to the TIGERSECU App and VMS), and other features contained within these services, including TIGERSECU Cloud Store and TIGERSECU Cloud Services (collectively, “our products and/or services”).

1.1 Information You Provide

Our services include essential functions (e.g., video previews, device control, etc.) which require certain personal data. Without this information, you may be unable to use some features.

We may collect the following types of information when you use our products and services:

Account information: ID, password, country/region, email addresses used for TIGERSECU Cloud login. If you create a family group, this may include IDs and nicknames of family members.

Contact details: Optional information such as name, gender, date of birth, phone number, and postal address.

Phone number and text message: By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from TIGERSECU. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Anyway, you can text “STOP” to opt-out at any time.

Payment information: Collected via third-party providers (e.g., billing address, card number, expiration date, last 4 digits). TIGERSECU may store limited information such as the card’s expiration date.

Device settings: Names and descriptions of your devices (e.g., “Camera – Front Door”) and configuration changes.

Technical details: Device model, serial number, MAC address, UID, DDNS, and software version.

Facial recognition data: If enabled in supported regions and devices, facial data is encrypted and used for recognition and notifications. You may disable this feature at any time.

Third-party services data: If you log in via services like WeChat, Alipay, or UnionPay, we may collect related identifiers.

Customer support data: Information provided through “Contact Us” forms, support tools, or applications.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We may collect technical information via cookies, web beacons, server logs, and SDKs. This may include:

Device details (model, OS, MAC address, login IP, browser type, push notification IDs, etc.);

Usage data (click paths, timestamps, network information, app installation lists).

  • Camera/webcam access: For QR code scanning or taking photos;

3.5 Data Retention

Personal data collected in China is stored within China in compliance with applicable laws.

Data is retained while you use TIGERSECU services. Upon request, we will delete your information within 48 hours, unless laws require longer retention.
