The TIGERSECU 12V 8A Security Camera and DVR Power Adapter with 9-Way Power Splitter provides a powerful and convenient centralized power solution for security camera systems. It can power up to 9 compatible standard analog and HD CCTV security cameras and is also suitable for higher-power security equipment such as PTZ cameras, DVRs, and NVRs, as long as the total connected load does not exceed 96W.

Featuring universal AC 100V–240V, 50/60Hz input and DC 12V output with a maximum current of 8A, this power supply delivers up to 96W of total power. The standard 2.1 × 5.5 mm DC power connector makes it a convenient replacement power supply for many compatible TIGERSECU, Lorex, Reolink, Night Owl, Swann, Defender, ZOSI, Annke, and other security camera systems.

Designed with safety in mind, the power adapter features ETL certification, a V-0 fire resistance rating, and a safety indicator light for reliable everyday operation.

Package includes one 12V 8A AC-to-DC power adapter and one 9-way power splitter cable.

  • Check device power requirements before purchase. Your camera, DVR, NVR, or other security device must support DC 12V power and use a compatible 2.1 × 5.5 mm DC power connector.
  • Maximum total output is 96W / 8A. The combined power consumption of all connected devices must remain within the power supply's maximum capacity.
  • Supports higher-power security equipment. Unlike lower-output camera power adapters, this 12V 8A model can also be used with compatible PTZ cameras, DVRs, and NVRs, provided their power requirements do not exceed the adapter's 96W total output.
  • Do not overload the power supply. Do not connect devices whose combined power consumption exceeds 96W, as doing so may result in unstable operation or damage to the power supply or connected equipment.
  • The 9-way splitter does not mean every setup can power 9 devices simultaneously. The actual number of devices that can be powered depends on the power consumption of each connected camera, DVR, NVR, or other device. Always keep the total load within 12V 8A / 96W.
  • Third-party compatibility may vary. Compatibility depends on the specific device's voltage, connector size, and power requirements. Please contact TIGERSECU before purchase if you are unsure whether your existing security camera, DVR, NVR, or PTZ camera is compatible.

This TIGERSECU camera works with HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS 960H D1 analog DVRs. Use the nifty switch to easily change the camera’s mode to match your DVR. Contact TIGERSECU at [email protected] with your DVR’s brand and model, and we can find out whether it’ll work.

A black-and-white image can appear on CVI DVRs. Correct the image color by switching the camera to CVI video mode (be sure to press the camera’s OSD switch towards CVI-mode for 5 seconds). Contact TIGERSECU’s Help Desk if you need a hand.

We recommend using a 12V 1A power supply to power up each camera. The power interface is DC 5.5 x2.1 mm. Insufficient power can result in distorted or blacked-out images, or video loss.

This is a hard-wired camera that can be connected it to your DVR using a BNC video cable. Contact TIGERSECU at [email protected] if you need a hand with installation.

The OSD switch is a toggle switch on the camera that allows you to easily switch the camera’s video mode so it can work with a variety of DVRs, including HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and even older 960H D1 analog DVRs.
