TIGERSECU analog cameras are compatible with DVRs that support the camera’s video format—TVI, AHD, CVI, or CVBS. And DVR resolution should match with the camera.

SDI DVRs are not compatible with TIGERSECU analog cameras.

We recommend a dedicated regulated 12V DC, 1A power adapter for each camera.

If power outlets are not available near the cameras, you can use a suitable power splitter to power multiple cameras. For example, the TIGERSECU 12V 8A power adapter with splitter can power up to eight standard security cameras, provided the total load does not exceed 96 W.

1. Make sure the camera is connected to a regulated 12V DC power supply rated at 1A or higher.

2. Disconnect and reconnect the BNC connectors at the camera and DVR.

3. Confirm that the DVR channel supports the camera’s video format and resolution.

4. Hold the camera joystick to the right for five seconds to restore the default TVI mode.

1. Confirm that the camera’s video format matches the DVR channel.

2. If the DVR supports AHD or CVI, switch the camera to the matching format and test again.

3. Check the DVR’s color settings before changing the camera settings.

1. Use a regulated 12V DC power supply rated at 1A or higher for each camera.

2. Reconnect the BNC connectors and keep the video and power cables away from sources of strong electrical interference.

3. Test the camera with a known-good power supply or video cable.

1. Test the camera in a dark environment.

2. Check whether the infrared LEDs turn on and the image changes to black and white.

3. Move nearby reflective surfaces or obstructions away from the lens.

4. Make sure the power supply provides at least 1A per camera.

1. Clean the lens cover with a soft, lint-free cloth.

2. Remove any protective film from the lens cover.

3. Remove insects, spiderwebs, dust, water droplets, and other debris from around the lens and infrared LEDs.

4. At night, check for nearby walls, eaves, glass, foliage, or other surfaces that may reflect infrared light into the lens.
